Someone with good intentions, who caused a problem from hell

should have known 

the road to hell 

is paved with good intentions.

 

How do you solve a problem from hell?

Hellfire. 

It isn't pretty, not at all. In fact, it's brutal. Oh, and it's all a sideshow from the main event, sparring for what is coming.

Just because I am going to win the current war for you doesn't mean I will lift one finger with regard to the next war your folly brings. 

There's nothing at all wrong with standing back, shrugging one's shoulders, and watching the elephants and asses stamped off the nearest cliff. After all "animal spirits"! You can't stop people from being stupid.
